Since 2002, the journey of 'Kathaprakash' started. The publication of the famous Aziz Super Market in Shahbagh, the center of the art and culture and literature of capital Dhaka, has made it more known as the publication of poet, literary, novelist and researcher. And because of their valuable literature and research published from 'Kathaprakash', it has got a different dimension to the readers too.
Keeping the countless readers' needs ahead of time, 'Kathaprakash' continues to publish books of varied topics including poetry-stories-novels-research-essay-articles-biography-childhood-science fiction. Nationwide initiative has been organized to spread Bengali literature in the country and abroad by combining the country's old-time talent, 'Kathaprakash'.

'Kathaprakash' has been participating in the country's largest 'Amar Ekushey Bannstamala' organized by the Bangla Academy regularly since 2004, to its readers more closely. 'Amar Ekushey Bannthamla' in 2010, 'Sardar Jain Uddin Padak' earned creative work and 'Kathaprakash' for the best stall.
